CBSE Exam Pattern for Class 10
For CBSE class 10 board exams, the changes are in the question segments based on the percentage of total marks covered. Of the full 100 marks, 40% is for competency-based questions, another 40% is for small and big answer questions, and the remaining 20% is for objective-type questions.
CBSE Exam Pattern for Class 12
Similarly, for class 12 board exams, there are changes in the marks distribution. Small and big answer questions carry the most weightage, with 50% of the total questions. The remaining segments of the full 100 marks are distributed into 30% for competency-based questions and 20% for objective-type questions.
